Mobifer’s year in numbers (and a little between the lines)

Mobifer’s year in numbers (and a little between the lines)

There are years you can describe with an Excel sheet.
And then there are years you describe with the question: “Can we still get a bus for tomorrow?”

2025 was that kind of year for Mobifer.

It was a year of movement. A lot of movement. Children, teachers, wedding guests, tourists and everyone who thought “we’ll somehow manage” ultimately reached the right place at the right time. Usually together. And if someone was late, at least everyone was late in the same bus.

    What actually happened?

Most active ordering region: without competition Harjumaa
There is always somewhere to go. Usually immediately.

Strangest destination of the year: Kükametsa Grill
Buses go there more often than locals. We do not ask questions.

    Largest ride: 180 wedding guests
Everyone arrived. On time. A bus is a logistical miracle, especially when nobody has to look for parking.

    Bus truth of the year:
With a bus everyone arrives together. With cars… some do.

    Aha moment of the year:
“So I press a button and the bus is actually ordered?”

Sometimes the best technology is the one that does not make a show about itself.

    Distance covered: 192,000 client kilometres

    Farthest customers: from Kenya
Proof that if something is simple and logical, distance does not matter.

Fastest order: 1 minute 12 seconds
Probably a moment when the clock was ticking and a solution was needed immediately.

    Most repeated question:
“Can we get a bus for tomorrow morning? The kids are ready, the teacher less so.”

    Most active school: in Tartu
There the bus feels like a natural part of the system, like a school break.

    Best compliment to a driver:
“I wish you were our driver forever.”
These moments are not measured in tables but they are remembered.

    Most popular travel day: Saturday
If something happens, it usually happens on Saturday and with a group.

    What Mobifer actually runs on

Platforms and buses do not run only on fuel and schedules.

    They also run on coffee.

During the year the Mobifer team drank about 1,500 cups of coffee. Enough to answer “can we get it for tomorrow?” and solve situations that do not fit any calendar.

And if you ever feel like going somewhere, the Mobifer platform has 435 buses of different sizes available every day for short trips, long journeys and everything in between.
